About Our Legal Clinic

We are a non-profit community legal clinic providing services to the entire District of Manitoulin.

We offer free legal services to people living on low income in the District of Manitoulin, including:

• Legal advice in the areas of law we practice;
• Representation determined on a case-by-case basis; and
• Referrals to other resources and services

We provide legal information talks and resources for community groups and agencies. We also work to enhance access to justice and improve the laws that affect people living on low income in Ontario along with our community partners and legal clinics across the province.

A community-based board of directors is responsible for setting the strategy and providing oversight for the legal clinic.
